This beautiful island is on Lake Victoria. You can look forward to sailing on the lake, fishing, water-skiing and hiking. There are about 6 kms of sandy beaches. The rest of the shoreline is made up of rocky outcrops and low cliffs. One of the great pleasures of Bulago is the sheer range and diversity of walks available and with two dominating hills on the island, the views can be magnificent. The size of the island (it’s over 500 acres) means that walks can range from quick strolls to full hikes. Bird watching is another great past time and the range of birds is dazzling. Bulago can be reached by boat.

You can take a boat to Bulago from Entebbe Sailing Club, Entebbe Botanical Beach Hotel or from Speke Resort Munyonyo. It takes about 30 minutes by speedboat from Entebbe to Bulago, depending on the condition of the lake.
