Cherished by many, and still a dream destination for many Eco-tourism die-hards.

Below are Uganda’s Top 5 tours in 2019

Gorilla Tracking
The love for eco-tours in no longer a mystery all over the world. With animal species such as the gorillas which were lately on the verge of extinction until tough conservation measures were taken to see a few tens in increase over the years; Uganda remains the unbeatable gorilla tracking destination all over the world. Hosting a total of over 400 gorillas, with a total of 15 habituated families in the Uganda national parks.

Though bwindi impenetrable national park is mainly known for Gorilla, there is a lot to explore in the forests of this park which makes it the number one tourist destination in Uganda  ranging from but not limited to other wildlife families such as monkeys, rare bird species, chimpanzees among other animals

To Ensure conservation friendly tourism, Uganda wildlife  Authority issues permits at $600 specifically for Gorilla tracking in Bwindi impenetrable national park and Mgahinga Gorilla National park. With this permit you assured of a one hour experience with our close relatives who share over 98% human DNA. However much you only  offered one hour experience with  the Gorillas, you have an opportunity to view more wildlife in the remaining time.

Murchison Falls National Park

The oldest and still the largest national park in Uganda offers unbeatable exploration of wildlife and a marvelous view of the rushing waters of the Nile that vowed to find their way through a narrow rock path whose water kisses never go silent. While other destinations brag about the heights of the falls, Murchison falls stands out with its scenic beauty that leaves you wondering whether this water has just finally found out its escape plan to gush out with such incomparable force .

While you still over taken by this scenic beauty, a gentle tap on your shoulder will be a simple reminder that you have a lot  more to explore in this national park. Home to over 27 antelope species including but not limited to the Impalas, Kobs, Waterbucks, bushbucks, Elands, Heart beasts, Topi, Duikers among other antelope.

The beauty with the antelope tours is mainly in granting you the opportunity to learn about how these animals react, behave and find their way to safety with their littles whenever they are attacked by their predictors. Its mainly lions, Leopards  and hyenas that make the life of these antelopes miserable in the wild.

Queen Elizabeth National Park

Queen Elizabeth national park, though relatively smaller compared to Murchison falls, it has some of outstanding expeditions that can only be found in this park. Mainly known for the tree climbing lions, however there is a lot more in the park that meets the eye.

It is also known for the abundance of the big game, leaving Africa  without seeing the African Elephant will be a great miss, since in the same park there is an abundance of leopards. Besides the wildlife, while Murchison has mainly falls to offer in terms of aquatic abundance, Queen Elizabeth national park is home to Lake Katwe with tailored tours of ancient lake Katwe salty works.

The park is also a  few kilometers to Kibale National park and Budongo forest reserve which remain the leading destinations  for chimpanzee tracking in Uganda. This implies that when visiting Queen Elizabeth National park, you have unlimited access tourist centers.

Kidepo Valley National Park

Though rated as the leading tourist destination in Uganda by most of the foreign tourist players, the park remains a mystery to many eco-tourists that visit the country because of its isolation from all the other parks in terms of distance.

Its the only park that harbors cheetahs in the wild, its vegetation is totally distinct from all the other parks which makes a scenic bar, in other-wards, if you are to speak of Africa’s arid like scenery, Kidepo valley national park is yet to find a match. Gifted with lion tracking, hiking and birding explorations.

Jinja Adventure Expedition

Jinja is the home of Adventure in Uganda, testing your adrenaline level through bungee jumping, white water rafting at the Nile, conoeing, jet-boating, swimming and zip-lining in Mabira Forest. It is uncommon to  find people who enjoy these adrenaline activities, however with a daring company of friends, people are often left with a limited choice but to dare to try out these activities.

There are no regrets in Jinja, because you are always assured of a wonderful travel experience that is not only enlightening but daring at the same time. Almost all Jinja tour reviews are not only inspiring in terms of eco-tourism but daring at the same time.

Visiting the above five destinations will not only enhance your tour experience but also let you prove for yourself that Uganda is indeed the Pearl of Africa gifted by nature in all regions.
