Uganda to Host 2007 CHOGM Summit

The news is out. Uganda is set to host the 2007 Commonwealth summit, an event that already has the hospitality sector in Uganda working day and night to ensure that the 2007 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting/CHOGM is set to be an unforgettably Ugandan affair. And in President Museveni’ words, ‘I warmly welcome you. The climate is very good, you will enjoy the food and the people are marvelous.’ (New Vision, Nov. 28.)

Fortunately that is no lie.
